Opening Meme

1. What fine part of the world are you reading from today?

I am reading from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA

2. Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?

I'm excited about Coraline, the graphic novel version. I've also just started the Mortal Instruments series and I'm a couple hundred pages into City of Bones-I'm anxious to pick it back up and make a big dent in it, if not finish it, before the end of the day.

3. Which snack are you most looking forward to?

I honestly didn't plan out my snacks this time, but I have a few good things in the house (Dill Pickle flavored chips for the salty cravings and Ice Cream Sandwiches for the sweet cravings). I also have fruit and juice for smoothies, and a grocery store just across the street for anything else ;)

4. Tell us a little something about yourself!

This is my fourth time participating in Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon. I've done two readathons in October, and this is my second time doing a readathon in April.

5. If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what's one thing you'll do differently today?

The last readathon, I was very casual about the event and mostly read in between running errands and such. I didn't really spend anytime online. This time, I want to visit more blogs and participate in some memes. I am also setting a goal of 800 pages!

11:20 a.m. - I started the readathon in hour 2, around 9:30 a.m. for me.

I have been reading Obsession in Death (which I got a headstart on last night, I admit). I love the In Death series! They're such interesting, fast reads. This should get me off to a good start!

After Obsession in Death, I plan to pick up City of Bones and continue that. I even own City of Ashes and can pick that one up right after, if I'm so inclined to just read about Jace and Clary all day. ;)

  1. Good luck! Your TBR looks like a good mixture. I've read TMI and Coraline, which I rated 5 stars. I loved it. Happy Readathon-ing!!! #TeamRogue
